Pokémon Go codes for September 2025
How promo codes work, and where to get them from.

Pokémon Go codes allow players to receive bonus items through special promotions, including free iteams such as Poké Balls, but sometimes also unique gear such as an Ed Sheeran hoodie or an MLB baseball cap.
Previously, the ability to redeem codes for Pokémon Go was done differently depending on whether you're on Android or iOS, but now there's only one method to redeem codes, that we'll explain below.
If you want to know what freebies are available right now, we've got the latest Pokemon Go codes along with details on how to redeem them.

How to redeem Promo Codes
The process of redeeming Promo Codes used to differ from platform-to-platform, but the only way you can redeem codes now is by visiting the official redemption website on the Pokémon Go Web Store. This means you can no longer redeem codes in-game, even if you're an Android phone user.
Whether you're on Android or iOS, you can redeem a code online in just a few simple steps:
- Head to the Pokémon Go Web Store and click the 'Code Redemption' button. On desktop, this is in the top right, while on mobile you need to press the menu button first.
- Log in with the same account you use to play Pokemon Go, then enter the code in the field.
- Once you have redeemed the code, you should then receive a notification the next time you log into the game.
For long time players of Niantic's games, this process is nothing new, as Ingress had the same web-based interface for codes on iOS.
Where can you find more codes?
Most promo codes are given directly to players in emails to encourage them to return to the game, but from time-to-time, Niantic will release Pokémon Go Promo Codes for anyone in the community to redeem on their account.
The best place to find these are on the Niantic Support and Pokémon Go X accounts. These are supplied infrequently and are only available for a limited time, so be sure to redeem them as soon as you are able. Promo codes can also only be used once per account.
Sometimes, codes are also released to tie-in with specific events or collabs. These codes usually need to be redeemed by a certain date - such as before the event ending. Certain codes may also be limited to a specific amount of players.
September in Pokémon Go has started with the new Keldeo seasonal quest! The Pokémon Concierge Celebration Event is currently running. There's also levelling changes coming soon. You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.
What rewards can players get?
Niantic hands out a variety of different rewards with Pokémon Go codes, and what you'll get depends on what code you're trying to redeem. Past codes have included crucial items like Pokéballs and Incense for free, while other codes have activated timed research tasks where you'll encounter specific pocket monsters. Codes can also let players claim exclusive gear to kit their trainers out, which promote collabs that Pokémon Go has been running or events like the Pokémon World Championships.
One of the oldest collabs happened in late 2021, when a code was released for a themed hoodie as part of the Ed Sheeran event.
