Deputy Editorial Director

Dom never thought they'd actually get to make a living from 'doing words' when they were studying for a degree in Creative Writing at Roehampton University, but then they never thought they'd get to host a BAFTA video games talk, either.

Their career to date has been varied and colourful – whether it's been heading up the coverage of video games for a tabloid or making sure all the editorial is readable and enjoyable at NME Games, Dom has tinkered with it. They've also experimented with more corporate content and professional speaking engagements with Red Bull, Samsung, Xsolla, SXSW, and other places – but it was always editorial that had Dom's heart.

After coming home to roost at VG247 (with its nice, light-hearted take on things Dom enjoys), Dom migrated to Eurogamer, where they plan to oversee all the news and features on the site, hoping to fuse genuine enthusiasm with a clear critical take on the state of the industry and the world.

Passionate about games and the greater good they can achieve, you can usually find Dom listening to records, faffing about in the kitchen, or playing Final Fantasy VIII (again). They believe trans rights are human rights, that everyone deserves free healthcare, and that all Clouds are beautiful.
