The Timed Incubator is a new type of egg Incubator in Pokémon Go, bringing the total number available to four. (If you count the unlimited Incubator you start with!)

Knowing how to get the Timed Incubator is very helpful if you want to use this Pokémon Go item. After all, it could help you fill some missing Pokédex entries! Just make sure you know the Timed Incubator expiry date.

What is the Timed Incubator in Pokémon Go?

The Timed Incubator is a new type of egg Incubator with similar priorities to the unlimited Incubator every Pokémon Go player starts off with. Just like said Incubator, the Timed Incubator can be used as much as you like. That's right - it's an unlimited Incubator!

Though you've probably noticed the word 'Timed' in its name and wondering how that works with its unlimited nature.

Well, while you can use the Timed Incubator as many times as you like, this is only possible for a limited period of real world time. Once a certain date passes, also known as the Timed Incubator expiry date, it will vanish from your inventory automatically. (Though you won't lose the egg it contains.)

So how do you get the Timed Incubator?

September in Pokémon Go has started with the new Keldeo seasonal quest! The Pokémon Concierge Celebration Event is currently running. There's also levelling changes coming soon. You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.

How to get the Timed Incubator in Pokémon Go

To get the Timed Incubator you need to reach Rank 20 on the Go Pass Deluxe: September. If you're playing Pokémon Go regularly, you should be able to easily reach this rank by the second week of September thanks to the Weekly Tasks. Though you might reach it slightly earlier if you're a super fan…

When does the Timed Incubator expire?

The Timed Incubator released as part of September's Go Pass will expire on Tuesday 14th October at 10am (local time). This means you'll want to unlock the Timed Incubator nice and early to make the most of it!

Don't worry about losing an egg when the Timed Incubator expires! It will be popped into a single-use Incubator for you to finish hatching.
