How to get Spine Cores in Silksong
How to complete the Flexile Spines Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Upon meeting the Seamstress in Hollow Knight: Silksong’s Far Fields, you’ll be tasked with retrieving 25 Spine Cores for her. This might seem like a hefty amount of resources, and well, it is, but fortunately these don’t take too long to line your inventory with.
Completing this Wish for the Seamstress is something you want to do as soon as possible too, as completion of this side quest gives you access to a new ability that’ll be very useful in Far Fields and beyond. Here’s how to get Spine Cores in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Where to get Spine Cores in Silksong
First things first, to collect Spine Cores in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you must speak with the Seamstress in the huge tent found in Far Fields to be assigned the quest.

The quest then tasks you with hunting Hokers in Far Fields and collecting their Spine Cores; Hokers are the brown-green circular enemies with daggers poking out of them found in the area to the right of where you meet the Seamstress. More specifically, there are two of them in this area (pictured below).

Upon attacking a Hoker once, they’ll dispense the daggers attached to them which you’ll want to avoid. These daggers – which are actually Spine Cores – will then land on the floor and walls nearby. You want to quickly run over to them and attack the Spine Cores – wherever they may have landed – to be able to interact with and collect them.
You can then repeat the process by attacking the Hoker again and collecting all of its dispensed Spine Cores until it is dead. Go ahead and do the same for the other Hoker in this area and then rest at a nearby Bench to reset the pair. Keep attacking them and collecting their Spine Cores until you have 25 in total.

You can then return to the Seamstress to hand over the Spine Cores at last, prompting her to make a few tweaks to Hornet’s Cloak which will now allow you to glide. This means you can ride up the various currents found across Far Fields and in later areas in the game.
