How to get the Reaper Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

The Reaper Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong is one of multiple Crest items that can alter Hornet’s moveset. Silksong’s Reaper Crest in particular sees her able to attack with heavy slashes that gather additional Silk from enemies, which is great for using other abilities such as Silkspear or Thread Storm, or Binding.

To make sure you don’t miss out on any Crests, which you should definitely seek out, here’s how to get the Reaper Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

How to get Reaper Crest in Silksong

The Reaper Crest is located in the region of Greymoor in Hollow Knight: Silksong. More specifically, you’ll find it in a chapel to the far-left of the area, marked on the below map.

The Halfway Home in Greymoor is home to the closest Bench to this Crest. From there, exit the Halfway Home to the left and keep going left until you come to the tall chamber with wooden platforms and scissor-wielding enemies. Exit this room via the left again.

In the following open area, you want to platform to the ledge on your left where a scissor-wielding enemy stands. Kill him and go upwards behind where he was standing (pictured below).

It’s also worth noting that in this area (with the scissor-wielding enemy), you’ll find Garmond and Zaza on the ground level if you have already spoken to them in Greymoor. I recommend speaking to them here too, as they will offer help with an upcoming boss fight. To reach this boss fight, you actually want to go left of Garmond and Zaza and down. However, to reach the Reaper Crest, go back up from the duo and left.

At the top of this small passageway, go left to reach the Chapel of the Reaper. Head on inside!

Go downwards and on your right will be a nefarious wheel with smaller spiked wheels on it. You want to carefully platform across this and upwards while avoiding the spiked wheels.

At the top, you’ll need to hit a lever and jump up. You’ll then find yourself in a room where you must defeat waves of Greymoor’s bug mobs. It’s tough, but once you’re done with it, you can retrieve the Reaper Crest from a corpse at the top of the room.
