The Pet Mutation update in Grow a Garden contains a whole new feature, an expansion to the Prehistoric eventand more.
The Pet Mutation update introduces the Pet Mutation feature that allows you to grant certain pets additional passives and abilities. Beyond that, there's also more added to last weekend's Prehistoric update, as well as several new seeds, gear, cosmetics, and more.

Pet Mutation update in Grow a Garden
The headlining feature of this update are Pet Mutations, and these allow you to take any of your pets that have reached level 50 or more, and grant them new passive abilities and functions that enhance them in various ways. Expect increased stats and more.
Beyond that, there's also the expansion to the Prehistoric event featuring new upgrades to the Dino Machine that'll earn you rewards, as well as additional quests to complete and crafting recipes to learn. All of this builds on what was there in the initial update, so it's a great way to dive deeper into your prehistoric endeavours.

A total of four new seeds have been added to Grow a Garden as part of the Pet Mutation update. Here's a quick rundown of what seeds have been added and where to find them:
- Horsetail (Acquired via crafting and/or a dino's passive)
- Lingonberry (Acquired via crafting)
- Amber Spine (Acquired via crafting)
- Grand Volcania (Acquired via crafting)
- Giant Pinecone (Acquired from the Seed Shop)
Primal Egg pet odds in Grow a Garden
The Primal Egg is a new pet egg added as part of the Pet Mutations update in Grow a Garden.
