How to get Rosary Beads in Silksong
You can get Rosary Beads in Silksong by defeating specific enemies, finding them hanging from ceilings, or tucked away in caches that are waiting to be looted.
There are two types of Rosary Beads, red Rosary Beads are worth one, silver Rosary Beads are worth five.
So far, we've found that corrupted pilgrims are the enemy types that will drop Rosary Beads. In good news, the tougher they are to bring down, the more Beads they seem to drop. Your first proper encounter with corrupted pilgrims will be at the beginning of Moss Home.
Also, it's worth exploring every inch of each area - even if you think nothing is there as sometimes you'll stumble upon strings of Rosary Beads hanging from the ceilings. When you find these ones, simply attack them to make them drop down and then run through them to snatch them up.
You might even be lucky enough to find large stashes of Rosary Beads hidden behind a trap or past a hard-to-reach area or by attacking a suspicious mound. In short, exploring is lucrative and worth taking the time to do.
How to farm Rosary Beads in Silksong
At the time of writing, our favourite place to farm Rosary Beads in Silksong is at the start of Moss Home just after you meet Shakra to unlock the map for the first time in The Marrows. After meeting Shakra, head upwards and to the left until you come to the first area with corrupted pilgrims in it.
Defeating the corrupted pilgrims along this stretch of Moss Home will reward you with Rosary Beads, and this area gives you plenty of options for dodging incoming attacks as well as unleashing your own.
Once you've emptied this area of enemies, head back to the closest bench to reset the area and then return once more to find they've respawned. Rinse and repeat to get a lot of Rosary Beads with minimal effort!
How to get Rosary String in Silksong
You can get Rosary String in Silksong by trading Rosary Beads with some merchants you'll find on your adventure. The String is crucial if you want to hold onto your precious Beads when you die. Any Beads attached to a String will not be dropped upon death.
The earliest Rosary String you can buy is from the merchant in Bone Bottom for 80 Rosary Beads.
How to use Rosary String in Silksong
Once you've got a piece of Rosary String in Silksong a set amount of Rosary Beads you collect will be safely tucked away on the String in your inventory. This means, if you die, they won't be dropped and you won't have to return to your death scene to reclaim them.
However, if you want to use any of the Beads on the Rosary String you'll need to enter your inventory, highlight it and then use the indicated command to break the string. So it's a bit of a trade off, they're safe but unusable until you want to break the String.
Once the String has been broken to get the Beads, you'll need to get another one.
