The Cooked Owl is a fairly limited-time reward to get your hands on, being given away only at select times that you'll need to be logged in for. As such, the Cooked Owl pet is currently unavailable to earn.

That said, for players who were playing on June 14th in the moments leading up to the Working Bees update's release, this new pet was handed out to players by an admin.

As it stands, to get the Cooked Owl, you needed to have been logged in and playing Grow a Garden ahead of this update, which allowed you to receive the pet once the update fully launched. In case it's handed out to players like this again though, we'd recommemd jumping in ahead of an update's release to avoid any potential server issues that may occur as more and more players begin to load the game.

How to get the Burnt mutation in Grow a Garden

Once the Cooked Owl is yours, you're able to place it in your garden, allowing it to roam freely and apply a new plant mutation to your plants, Burnt. It isn't a guarantee that the mutation will be applied however, as sometimes the Owl's attempt will fail.

Not just that, but it'll provide an additional XP boost to all active pets. Both the mutation chance and XP boost will increase as the Owl grows up, aka levels up, and seems to differ based on size too.

As such, it makes the Burnt mutation relatively rare as it's only available to players who own a Cooked Owl.
