How to add Glyphs to weapons in Hell is Us
To add Glyphs to weapons in Hell is Us, you must first unlock the blacksmiths by talking to Victor at the forge in Jova after exploring Vitalis' basement.
After this, you need to upgrade a weapon to Grade 2 and select a Lymbic Sphere.
There are five Lymbic Spheres - Ecstasy, Grief, Rage, Terror and Neutral. A weapon can only use Neutral Glyphs and ones from its Lymbic Sphere. Due to this, it's a good idea to look at your current Glyph collection before upgrading a weapon to ensure you've got access to the best abilities currently available.

Once your weapon is upgraded, open up the menu and scroll to the 'Loadout' screen. Here you need to select the weapon you wish to add Glyphs to and then press the 'Add Glyphs' button prompt.
This opens a screen where you can select the Glyphs you wish to apply to the weapon. Keep in mind that where you apply the Glyph corresponds to the button prompt for using it, so you may want to move the Glyphs around if you keep activating the wrong one.
Each Glyph can only be applied to each weapon, so think carefully when applying them. Thankfully, changing a weapon's Glyphs costs nothing but it can still be quite annoying if you realise you're using the wrong weapon in the heat of battle.
Don't forget - only Neutral and Glyphs from a weapon's Lymbic Sphere can be applied!
