After you get to Lake Cynon and find the growing spot of the flowers, there's seemingly nowhere left to go until you stumble upon a pool filled with water surrounded by mystical pillars. Your goal now is to solve the pillar puzzle and drain the pool.

Hell is Us Lake Cynon pillar puzzle solution
To solve the Hell is Us Lake Cynon pillar puzzle you need to hit each pillar in the right order with your weapon to activate them and subsequently drain the pool around most of the pillars.
If you want to figure this out a bit for yourself, then look for pillars at each of these locations:
- To the north of the pool near a wooden platform.
- To the south-west of the pool on raised area near some trees.
- On the east side of the pool.
The symbols on each of these pillars from top to bottom will give you a clue as to the order you need to hit the mystical pillars in.
If you're struggling, the Hell is Us Lake Cynon pillar puzzle solution from top to bottom is Crown, Raindrop, Key, Star, Cup. You must go to each of these pillars around the pool and hit them in order with your weapon starting with the Crown.
You can find the symbol at the bottom bit of each pillar. Also, the Cup pillar can be found on the platform to the north of the pool.
Once you've hit all of the pillars, the pool will drain slightly and a device will appear on the west side of it. Head over to the device and then look south-west, you should see an opening in the wall to your left here. Walk over to this and grab the item inside - which is a Gear.
Head back to the device on the west side of the pool and interact with it, attaching the item you've just collected to it and the water will fully drain out of the pool. You can now head down the newly revealed stairs to continue your journey.
