Grow a Garden tips and tricks
Let's get growing!

Grow a Garden on Roblox is all about cultivating, crafting, tending to and ultimately harvesting your dream garden.
You're one of multiple gardens in a server in Grow a Garden, so things can get quite competitive - especially when your neighbour has a pristine one! You can grow simple fruits like Blueberries, to more complex plants like Cacao or even Cacti, the formation of your garden is entirely up to you.
Without further ado, here's our Grow a Garden tips and tricks to help you get growing, as well as all our Grow a Garden guides in one place.

Grow a Garden tips and tricks
Here are some tips and tricks to help you make the most of your time in Grow a Garden, especially if you're just starting and want to rocket your way to riches quickly:
- Focus on multiple harvest plants at first - One of the earliest and cheapest multiple harvest plants are Strawberry Seeds at 50 Sheckles from the Seed Shop and they grow very quickly (making them a great way to earn Sheckles). Multiple harvest plants only need to be planted once and over time will repeatedly grow produce for you - when you're low on Sheckles this is the best investment you can make. You pay out once (or however many Seeds you buy) then reap the rewards continously.
- Make the most of your space - There are seemingly no rules to how close together you can grow plants, so if you want to make the most money you should make the most of your space by squeezing as much together as possible.
- Favourite your plants - If you don't want someone stealing your produce while you're away (yes this is a thing) then use the Favourite Tool from the Gear Shop to lock your plants when you're not around. Though, this Tool does cost a lot of Sheckles and only has 20 uses.
- Favourite your Crops - Crops that you've harvested can be favourited while in your inventory so that you don't accidentally sell them when you're offloading the rest of your items.
- Hover your mouse over a plant to see its progress - If you hover your mouse over a plant that's still growing, you'll be shown its current progress and how close it is to being fully grown.
- Visit the Seed Shop when it refreshes - The Seed Shop's stock refreshes every five minutes (in real-world time), meaning that you could get your hands on rarer seeds if you're there the moment it refreshes. You'll get a notification at the top of your screen when this happens, so as soon as you see this select the 'Seeds' button at the top of the screen to fast travel to the shop and inspect its inventory.
- Visit the Gear Shop when it refreshes - The Gear Shop also refreshes every five minutes (in real-world time). This will be something when you're a bit further into creating your Garden as the cheapest shop item currently costs 25,000 Sheckles, but Gear can be extremely useful in helping you become an expert gardener.
- Participate in limited-time events - When limited-time events are running it's worth taking part in them as they can give you useful rewards or seeds for rare plants that you can't get any other way.
- Get Pets - Pets serve a purpose, as well as being welcome companions while you're tending to your garden. Most pets have unique perks that will be applied to your garden when you deploy them, such as the Hedgehog giving a Prickly fruit size bonus.
- Make use of Weather Event - Weather events can randomly occur at any point while you're playing and these events can make your crops more valuable, so if you see one starting to happen (you'll usually get a weather-related icon appear in the bottom right corner of your screen) you should pay more attention to sewing and harvesting your garden.
- Pay attention to fruit Mutations - Fruit Mutations can occur naturally, like 'Big fruit', or they can be caused by specific weather events (such as 'Wet' coming from the 'Rain' weather event). These mutations are often clear to see as the affected fruit will look different to your generic crops, such as the 'Rainbow' fruit being multicoloured. Most of the time, mutated fruit is worth more.
- Complete Daily Quests - You can get Daily Quests by speaking to Elosie at the Gear Shop, simply select the 'show me daily quests' option when it appears to check what they are for that day. Complete all of the daily quests to be rewarded with valuable Seed Packs.
