The Old Amber mutation applies a x20 multiplier to the affected crop, which is double the worth of the plain Amber one! In our opinion, especially if you've got a high-value crop, it's worth the wait, but if you can hold out even longer, the Ancient Amber mutation offers even better multipliers.
