The Aurora mutation in Grow a Garden is yet another plant mutation you can have applied to your plants to increase their value.

If a crop has the Aurora mutation applied to it, it will receive a x90 multiplier, significantly increasing its overall value in Grow a Garden.

To get the Aurora mutation in Grow a Garden you must experience the Aurora Borealis weather event. You will know this event is occurring as there will be an Aurora icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and the entire sky will be filled with hues of green, purple and blue - just look up!

Any crops that have been afflicted by the Aurora mutation during this will become a glowing purple/blue colour. Also, when you harvest the plant and add it to your inventory you'll see it labelled with the mutation. For example, an Aurora Strawberry would be labelled as a 'Aurora Strawberry'.
