This Evo Select card blitzes the minimum specs for an A2-rated card with speeds of up to 160MB/s, making it an excellent choice for use in the likes of a Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck where it'll enjoy rapid game file transfer times and load times alike. It is not compatible with the new Switch 2 however, as that is using the much faster and newer Micro SD Express cards instead.
512GB of capacity is also a large amount for storing a fair amount of games, or other files too if you're using it for more general use. For those recording a lot of high-res video in GoPros and such, a 512GB microSD also gives you some peace of mind for storing that video without it needing constant attention to be moved elsewhere when a card gets full. In addition, if you've got a large hi-res music collection, some of those files can be real storage hogs - even mine with CD-quality MP3 and FLAC files is nearing 300GB, so I'm using cards of this capacity in my DAPs at home.
